Description: Penn State Cooperative Extension in Pike County will present a Pond and Lake Management Workshop, March 27, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, PPL Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center Auditorium, 126 PPL Drive, Hawley. Topics to be addressed include lake ecology, aquatic plant control, fisheries management and shoreline habitat and pond and lake water testing. The cost of the workshop is $25.00 per person and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and informational materials. Pre-registration, including payment, is required by March 23.
